Our suppliers, mostly the mills located in the United States, have assured us that the vast majority of product we purchase is produced from scrap. While they cannot guarantee the exact percentage of scrap used in a particular heat, all of the mills indicated they use over 75% and some use more than 90%. At the end of your products useful life 100% of the stainless portion is recyclable. Further, we try to reduce our carbon footprint by doing what we can to recycle and not over package our products.
